Profile
I'm originally from Maputo, Mozambique but have been living in the United States for the past 4 years. I attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles working towards a BA in Graphic Design and a BA in Theatre Arts.
As a Graphic Designer and I enjoy working as part of a team, but also work well independently.
Experience
Most recently I have worked as a Promotions Director at the Del Rey Players, the student run theatre on campus, a Graphic Design Intern for GEM, a growing multivitamin start-up based in LA, and have been working as a freelance designer taking in clients for the past 2-3 years.
Skills
Brand development, editorial/layout design, advertising campaigns, illustration, packaging design, print collateral design, and social media content creation.
Im experienced in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. I also know Canva and want to learn more about user experience design software.
I also enjoy fine arts: painting, wood sculpture, lettering and trying out new techniques.
Fun Facts
In my free time, I enjoy baking and growing my indoor plant collection!
I am a certified Yoga Instructor, and I enjoy being outdoors, especially near the ocean. All this makes it so I have a great interest in working in the health & wellness industry.
